She was started slow and correct with Shoudi Crosby, and just finished a refresher that included starting to track the hot heels. She is incredibly quiet, sensible, and not the spooky type. I believe this filly would excel as a ranch rider, cow horse, or rope horse—your options are endless. I even like her as a barrel prospect. She naturally draws to a stop, picks up both leads, lopes nice circles, and has a solid foundation in her turnarounds. She rides out alone or in a group, hauls well, and drinks on the road. There’s no nonsense with this filly—she’s fully ready for a job. It's hard to find papered prospects that are riding this well for the money.

Merida is sired by Travalin by Starlite - he is producing some incredible rope and barrel horses! He is by the great Travalena (NCHA $105,000) and out of the iconic producer, Lil Foxie Starlight (PE $468,000). Her dam side is a nice cross of foundation and racing blood. This filly is truly the whole package as a performance horse prospect and a broodmare in your program down the line.
